IT'S YOUR RESUME...WHAT'LL BE ON IT?

The University of Missouri 4-H Center for Youth Development offers
college students, graduates, and AmeriCorps members finishing their
terms full-time AmeriCorps*VISTA positions starting this summer!

AmeriCorps*VISTA...it's about
adventure...experience...benefits...helping others help
themselves...making your education count...NOW!

Commit one year of your life to working with youth in governance/civic
engagement programs in a community in Missouri, while taking a break
from school and part-time work.

Some of the things you will learn include writing grants, helping start
4-H youth clubs, community organizing, applying GPS/GIS technology, and
advocating for "youth friendly" policies.

Earn benefits like a living allowance, health insurance, and a $4,725
education award to apply to your tuition, student loans, or future grad
studies. You may also earn credit toward your degree or research!

Right now engineers, teachers, librarians, retirees, college students on
their way to grad school, and more are promoting positive youth
development with 4-H VISTA. You could be next!

Positions begin July 18, 2005. Applications accepted until May 20,
2005.
