The Get SSET program held on the campus of MIT during August is entering its 
third year. It provides underserved girls entering 9th and 10th grade with a 
week long learning experience centered on sport science, engineering, and 
technology.  The tuition for every girl whose application is accepted is 
fully funded through the generous donations of individuals, businesses and 
foundations. By supporting girls' interests in science and technology at an 
age when they still have the opportunity to make choices about their 
continuing education, we believe we are laying the groundwork for their 
future educational and professional success.

If you know of girls who would be interested or if you could forward this 
information to students, science or math teachers, guidance counselors, 
coaches or parents we would be most appreciative.  Please call me if you 
have any questions.
