Dear YouthLearn subscribers-

The YouthLearn team hopes that your summer is going well!

A sincere thanks to all for your time in responding to the survey on
"Youth Media & Professional Development" that we announced a couple of
weeks ago.

http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=668231175431

So far, over 150 educators from all over the country have filled out the
survey. All the participants shared their experiences in facilitating
youth media projects and continuous interests in enhancing their capacity
of working with young people for better media projects.

We’re so excited to see what the survey results will uncover!

For those who haven’t been able to participate, we’d like to remind you
that this survey will remain open until August 3rd.

If you are at all interested in youth media, we'd love to have you share
your experiences, and interests at
http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=668231175431.

Your contribution will help us create a promising learning network, which
will provide services and resources that reflects the real needs of
teachers and youth media educators.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance by simply
emailing at info at youthlearn.org or calling me at 617-618-2730.

We will get back to you soon with the findings of the survey! Have a
wonderful week!

Sincerely,

YouthLearn team

Youth Media: Typically, "youth media projects" refer to activities that
engage a group of young people in the production of a media work that can
take many forms (audio, video, digital art, web, etc.). These projects
often provide young people with a new perspective on their learning, the
community they live in and the broader media culture.
