Dear YouthLearn Colleagues:

After-school professionals know that technology can play a substantial role
in helping students learn, and it can also facilitate the process between
students and their creative work. The National School Boards Association
has created a venue that focuses on artistic expression through technology
at its T+L²: Leading Learning to a Higher Level conference that will take
place on October 26-28, 2005 in Denver, Colorado.

At the conference, the "Arts Spotlight" will showcase innovative uses of
technology in the creation of movies and music, and winners of the
"Technology in the Classroom Moviefest" and the "Student Electronic Music
Composition Talent Search" will be honored. While the winners have already
been selected for the music competition, submissions will be accepted until
September 30 for the Moviefest, so get yours in now! For details, go to
www.nsba.org/t+l/program/spotlight.cfm

To learn more about the conference and to register, go to www.nsba.org/t+l
<www.nsba.org/t+l> or call 800-950-6722. If you are with a school district
or education agency that is a member of NSBA's Technology Leadership Network
(www.nsba.org/tln <www.nsba.org/tln> ), you'll receive a significant
discount on conference registration!
