Hi Wanda~
We also were impressed with the *free* nature of the program. However, we worked all year contacting colleges and universities to find students to work for us from America Reads and the closest we have gotten to it is a university that gave us a work study student. Most of the colleges in and around Dallas that we've contacted know nothing about the America Reads program they supposedly have. The ones that I hear rumors about that are supposedly still in existence will never call back. It sounds like such a wonderful program. I just wish it were really out there!
