Dear YouthLearn Subscribers:

 

Over the past couple of years, I have certainly been impressed with the
great things that you many of you do with academically talented students
and I'd like to be involved in aiding those of your students who are
interested in making the transition to private schools for high school
in that process.  We understand that not every child will be pursuing
those options, but we would like to aid those who are interested.

 

Established in 1963, A Better Chance is the preeminent resource for
identifying, recruiting, and developing leaders among young people of
color throughout the United States. A Better Chance is the oldest,
largest and only national program of its kind.  Through the A Better
Chance Scholars Program, A Better Chance has placed over 11,000 middle
and junior high school students in some of the nation's finest college
preparatory schools, both public and private across the United States.
A Better Chance has been offering that access to students of color for
the past 42 years, working with over 200 schools and 80 affiliated
colleges across our nation.  

 

If you have parents with an interest in considering broader educational
options for their talented students for middle or high school, please
don't hesitate to let us know.  For more information, please feel free

can find the list of our national staff and who should be contactede
according to the area in which you reside.  Also, please find our
general information flyer attached for your review and distribution at
your discretion.  Please also feel free to pass this message along to
