WOW!!!!!

I am so pleased that I have joined this forum, THANK YOU to everyone who has responded to my query!

Today I am feeling truly blessed. From this forum and some other inquiries I have made it seems that one of the greatest hurdle organizations encounter is in locating volunteers to staff tutoring programs. As I noted in my previous post, I am working with another local organization, and a group of churches, and I have all the volunteers I could possibly use! So much so that it is possible that we may have more than one site next summer! My task now is find curriculum and training materials.

I really like what I see in the America Reads/America Counts website. Thank you all of you that have shared such valuable information (I love choices!) and I am looking forward to following up on your leads. Please keep the info coming as I am definitely benefiting from all of this.
