Young people -- some 300,000 of whom visit the Bank's Web site each month 
? are the focus of a new site aimed at students, teachers and young 
professionals interested in development issues. Youthink! is a lively, 
interactive and dynamic site that invites young people to explore the 
research, knowledge and experience gathered by Bank experts on issues like 
poverty, development and conflict. The site also offers opportunities to 
share ideas, stories and photos, and has separate areas for younger kids 
and teachers. There are discussion forums, suggestions on how to get 
involved in development work, and a multimedia section with games, quizzes 
and videos. The site will host regular chats with experts through the 
Speak Out section. As part of the launch, the site is sponsoring a photo 
essay contest in partnership with WorldLinks titled "Your Voice, Your 
World." Contestants, aged 14 through 20, from around the world are being 
encouraged to capture their world through images.
