Several workshops should focus on money management; an example
stretching my money from paycheck to paycheck. Also you may want to
consider basic banking services. A good resource is The National
Endowment For Financial Education; this group has funded educational
programs for this group. Check with Cornell Cooperative Extension; this
is an excellent source for educational resources for youth. The office
is located in the city; ask for Jackie Davis. Maria Young Rutgers

Keep in mind that this program will need alot of extra love an
attention. Your cirriculum should include self-esteem classes. Get an
input from the children to see what they are interested in and then ad
your basics.
