To all our friends in the YouthLearn community,
Later this month we will be compiling our 100th edition of the
YouthLearn newsletter, which also just happens to coincide with the 5th
anniversary of YouthLearn's transition from the Morino Institute to EDC.
Hard to believe, that time has gone by so quickly! We thought it might
be fun to celebrate our latest milestones with a special 100th issue of
the YouthLearn Newsletter...
100 Big Things in Youth, Education & Technology in the Past 5 Years
Since YouthLearn has been here at EDC, our world has changed
considerably, and technology and media tools have continued to
significantly impact, for better or worse, the work of educators and the
lives of young people. We hope you can help us identify the innovations
and inventions that are moving all our work forward.
To nominate a big idea to include in the newsletter, send us an email
with:
(1) your nomination (i.e., a tech innovation, new policy, event, body of
research, etc.);
(2) one sentence describing why it should make the list;
(3) a related URL.
This 100th issue will be published Tuesday, November 21, so please send
your ideas to info at youthlearn.org (not to the list) by Wednesday,
November 15. As an added bonus, if we use your idea in the final list,
we'll send you a complimentary copy of The YouthLearn Guide.
Let me know if you have any questions. We can't wait to see your ideas;
we're working on our own at the same time.
Many thanks for your years of participation in the YouthLearn community,
Wendy
