Dear Colleague,

You may be familiar with the publication that The Afterschool Investments Project produced a few years ago called CCDF and 21CCLC: State Efforts to Facilitate Coordination for Afterschool Programs (available at http://nccic.acf.hhs.gov/afterschool/CCDF21CCLC.pdf). This publication described the rationale for increased coordination, the challenges involved, and emerging strategies for states to consider that can make it easier for programs to utilize both funding sources. We are interested in updating this publication and would like to focus on both state and community level strategies for coordinating 21st CCLC and CCDF funds. If you have any leads or know of a program or community that has been successful in coordinating or blending these two funding streams, please respond to me at sbhat at financeproject.org and we can set up a time to talk with you.

Thank you,

Soumya
