I would suggest books and videos by Elizabeth "Betita" Martinez, including
"De Colores Means All of Us: Latino Views for a Multi-Colored Century,"
"500 Years of Chicano History" and much more.
I would also suggest looking up various Women's History Month events at
colleges and universities near you. They may have films and other resources
readily available.

Subject: [YL] women's history
hi everyone
Our theme at one of the ymca's for march is women's history.
Does anyone have suggestions for good resources about women's
history...particularly latino or african american women's history?
I've done a search on google for
www.history.com: women history
but was wondering if anyone had specific suggetions they have used.
thanks.
