I'm betting that plenty of the Blog Against Sexism has historic value. My
post, linked below, is about, among other things, Betty Friedan.

Hi Matt,

Many years ago, Ms. Magazine ran a monthly series called "Lost Women." These
were profiles of women whose historical contributions had been "lost" over
the years and included (as I recall) Latina and African American women, as
well as women of other races/ethnicities. There is a great book called "When
and Where I Enter: The Impact of Black Women on Race and Sex in America", by
Paula Giddings (1984), which provides an excellent look at African American
women in history. I hope these resources are helpful.

hi everyone
Our theme at one of the ymca's for march is women's history.
Does anyone have suggestions for good resources about women's
history...particularly latino or african american women's history?

I've done a search on google for
www.history.com: women history
but was wondering if anyone had specific suggetions they have used.

thanks.
matt
