Dear YouthLearn members,

The Community Technology Centers' Network (CTCNet) - a national network of
organizations providing technology access and education to underserved
communities - would like you to know about our Youth Visions for Stronger
Neighborhoods curriculum, an exciting low-cost resource for youth-serving
organizations.

The curriculum offers a proven methodology for engaging youth in local
community-building and problem-solving through multimedia tools and
training. Using this curriculum, youth across the country have identified
some of the most pressing problems in their neighborhoods and worked towards
creating solutions to and awareness around these issues. (Visit
www.ctcnet.org/youthvisions/gallery to view sample Youth Visions videos.)

Between 2003 and 2006, CTCNet's Youth Visions program awarded grants to 23
youth-serving organizations to implement community engagement and media
projects while working collaboratively to adapt and refine the curriculum.
What resulted is the field-tested curriculum now available to community
organizations everywhere.

The Youth Visions curriculum is a powerful resource your community can use
to:

      * Develop youth leadership skills

      * Inspire collaborative and creative problem-solving

      * Foster intergenerational communication

      * Grow individual and collective capacity to use multi-media tools

As your organization works through the curriculum, positive changes will
occur - both among youth participants and within the community.
