Dear Keith,

I'm not sure what subject matter you wish to present on, but I would suggest that you contact your local Option IV Program or WIA Group. You could also try any State BVR. I am a job coach through Option IV Program in Ohio. We develop employment sites and train students between the ages of 16 to 22 with any qualifying disability. Training can be simply development and application help to completely breaking a job down and teaching it step by step to a student until they can be independent on the job. It depends on the students needs and the job. At my place of employment we serve four counties in Northwest Ohio which includes 22 high schools, 1 vocational school, several specialty schools and qualifying home schooled pupils. I hope this helped. If you need more, I could get more specific about Ohio process, but that might not help in South Carolina.

Sincerely,
Lynn Oberhaus
Job Coach

Subject: [YL] Job Training for Teens

I have the opportunity to speak to a high School Class of students that are special needs on how to obtain a job. Does anyone have a some information that they could share with me on a training they have done for this group or for teens in general. If there is a good web site please let me know that as well.
