You are invited to participate in the latest installment of the Youth
Programs Resource Center's audio conference series to be held in a
web-based format. Leaders of small youth-serving organizations need to
have the knowledge and tools to create and use sound financial
management practices to ensure long-term success of their programs. This
event is intended to assist executive directors, directors of finance
and administration, and program managers to bridge the gap between the
operations and finances of their organizations through real-life
examples from a former non-profit manager. The event will conclude with
an interactive question-and-answer session between the speakers and
audience participants.

Project and former non-profit business manager and author of Beyond the
Checkbook: A Financial Management Guide for Leaders of Small
Youth-Serving Organizations, which details the lessons he learned the
hard way and what non-profit leaders can do to avoid similar problems.
In this webinar, leaders will learn about sidestepping pitfalls in
fiscal management, and accounting systems, budgeting, reporting and
fiscal controls.
