Hi Co,

I have recently been pulling together a list of all the youth
technology programs in Seattle, and thought I'd offer you all the
organizations dedicated to film/video that I have found thus far. I'm
not involved with any of these projects, and I'm not entirely sure
they all offer summer video sessions (or if they do that they're still
open), but the list should be a good starting point.

In Seattle:

SCAN Community Media
http://www.scantv.org/

911 Media Arts Center
http://www.911media.org

Jack Straw Productions
(I think they mainly work with particular schools rather than workshops/classes)
http://www.jackstraw.org/

Youth Media Institute of Seattle
http://youthmediaseattle.org/

If you want to see location in the city, they're all on a google map
at <http://tinyurl.com/youthTechSeattle>. All the video programs have
red flags.

As for Portland area, the only program I have heard of is called the
NW Film Center.

Hope this helps!

Lauren
