Check out the NFL sponsored afterschool program "Recharge: Energizing Afterschool Programs". (or maybe you have?) Our local fitness center staff joined with a local school district to offer the program. It's nationwide, well researched and adds body movement to reading and nutritional science to get kids MOVING!

Subject: [YL] Math & Reading resources
Does anyone know of any math and reading materials for middle school students that incorporates sports to help the experience be more interesting and they actually learn and improve in these areas. My program is looking to start an afterschool program and these are the two areas we want to focus on.
